Embassy Turkey

A facade proposal for an existing embassy building on a city street. The building behind stays as it is; the intervention is a single new layer in front of it.

The screen is built from an interlocking star pattern, drawn out at several densities and tested as physical panels before being applied to the whole elevation. It filters daylight into the offices, veils the older facade without hiding it, and reads as a lit surface after dark.
