BUR Residence Interior

The entrance hall and circulation of BUR Residence, a private residence in Sofia.

Walnut panelling is curved at every corner and returned into the ceiling, so the hall reads as a single continuous surface rather than a set of walls. A sculpted bronze relief closes the view from the entrance; green velvet seating and a bronze figure are set against it. The monogram is cut into the timber beside the lift, where a black steel screen opens the stair to the corridor.
